The Zoo

We've taken two trips to the zoo already this year. One in January (with Deanna and Trevor) and one in February (with Shannon, Craig and Carter). The zoo is so much fun when it's not crowded or hot!

January Trip

Oliver and Trevor are so funny together! They were both saying "Cheese!"

Oliver was amazed at how tall the "raffes" were.

And the carousal is by far my favorite part - I get to watch Olie make these faces!

February Trip

They almost were both smiling at the same time. For being almost a year apart, Oliver are Carter are good little buddies!

Once again, we had to see the tall "raffes", as Olie calls them.

I don't remember what this animal is really called, but Olie only cared that it was a kitty and wouldn't leave it alone.

The giant tortoises were inside. You'd think will that huge shell, they'd be able to stay warm on their own. Oliver fed these guys Goldfish crackers when I wasn't looking - oops!

This is Carter in the ape building. I don't remember what animal was behind him, but his expression in this picture made me laugh!

We are planning on getting a Zoo Pass this year so we can go to the zoo all the time. It's a good way to kill a few hours with Oliver and he's always really good when we're there. Next Wednesday is "Free Zoo Day" and you can get we'll be there once again!
