Remember When...?

This is on a few blogs around here, so I took it and I hope you'll do it too! Have fun!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I have together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember....

2. Next repost these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory I'll hope you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave a memory for you.

When you were about 2-3 we were getting ready to move into our house. I had gotten colored dots to put on the boxes to indicate which room they needed to go in. You came to visit, and I gave you a page of dots to play with, along with crayons and paper, thinking that would keep you busy while the grownups visited. But Rachel being the ever ingenious little girl that she was, had other plans. Our cat "Mr. Squeek" was sleeping in the rocking chair. Imagine his surprise when he woke up to a small, very cute little girl putting dots all over him. Being the good fellow that he was, he just laid there while she "dotted" him. You can be sure that we took pictures!

yes Rachel was a creative little girl. if it was quiet you better be looking for her. How many 3 year olds have glued ALL the kitchen towels to the counter, punched holes in mom and dad's waterbed to spray up her name...and yes she knew how to spell it, and put the tweezers in the outlet twice, because she wanted to see if it would bite twice, all in one day! It seemed like just yesterday. Now she is married and is the BEST mom for Oliver, I would have never dreamed in a million years that she would be so patient and carring with him. Rach me and Dad are very proud of you! We love you lots...... Just remember time goes so fast when you are a mom, cherish each day.

I just remember that you were SO cute, and SO busy!! I remember getting the riot act for you gluing the towels (okay, okay, so I gave you the glue...) but I remember you blowing bubbles, and playing with my cat.. and reading books to Bailey when she was just a baby. I remember the witch costume you wore with the glittery green in your hair. You were so NOT scary!
I love you Rachel, and Oliver is lucky to have such a great mom.

Oh man where to start. I think one of the best has to be the 10'O Clock Ice Cream Phenomenon! You know what I'm talking about! Haha. Need I say more!

Let's see, it has been fun watching you grow from a teenager to a wonderful woman and mother. But I will always remember how fun it was for us to be pregnant at the same time with our boys - who are sure to be very close being born one day apart!!
